Business Idea of The Fucking Century

Ok check this out.

My best friend is a mortgage broker. A pretty good one at that--his first month in his new office he'll be making between 12-17k. In one month of working. Not bad for the first month. Next month he's aiming for 25k. Not bad for an 18 year old college drop out. Anyhow...

But his system of gaining clients is cold calling. Calling you during your dinner time, and convincing you to refinance your house. Now, he's good at it. But hates doing it (every salesman hates cold calling. It's the hardest thing to do in sales).

So he came to me and asked for a direct mail campaign. A way in which he'll be able to aquire credit applications and leads without ever having to pick up the phone. We came up with a plan. Next month we'll mail out 2000k pieces to see how it works.

We agreed I'd make 5% of whatever his gross comission is. Meaning if the mailing I create for him creates 10,000 in gross comission for him. I would make $500. But in direct mail campaigns, you mail monthly. So I make 5% every month he mails my campaign.

But here's what makes it the best business idea of the fucking century.

If it works for Eric, I'm going to create a system. With instructions on exactly how it works, and give it to another mortgage broker in another state with the same deal as Eric. 5% gross comission, every time you mail it (which is a great deal if you have any idea what hte price of an ad campaign and copywriting.).

If it works for him. I'm going to go national. Make a national license for it.

But here's the best part. The license will be for 1 year. You have the right to use my system for one year. But if you buy it, no one else in your state will be allowed to use it. So no one else will be using the same incredible techniques as the person that buys it.

And you can buy the license for $10-15k a year (haven't decided the best price yet.). But you can imagine, if this system guarentees that you will make 10-30+k every single month you use it. I think it'd be worth it.

But now look at this plan. Every year, I can sell this license to mortgage brokers, NATION WIDE. Even fi I only get 30 of 50 states. That's 300-450k a year, for basically past the initial time investmetn of putting it together. No work. I can hire a mailing house that sends out the letters. I can hire a fullfillment company to send out the orders. And I collect the checks, once a year.

The potential for this is huge. There aren't very many opportunities to sell a product that costs esentially nothing to product for $10,000, unless it provides incredible value.

But would you pay 10k for something you knew would make you at least 100k every year, but probably closer to 200-300k? I think you would.

And I'll be living in my Condo in Hawaii, with my 300k every year. Working on the next plan. Maybe plastic surgeons? Real-Estate Agents....

I love potential. I let you know how rich I am next year.
